Job summary

Trojan Battery Company in Georgia seeks a Sr. Human Resources Generalist to deliver full-cycle HR support at our manufacturing plant. You will partner with the plant leadership to maximize employee performance, support onboarding, training, and employee relations, and drive HR process improvements.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of HR experience, including manufacturing exposure. Knowledge of government regulations, performance management, and Workday is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, economics or business management, or equivalent level of experience.
• 5–7 years of HR experience in HR, Employee Relations, On-Boarding, Recruitment and Training.
• Strong knowledge of HR principles, legal requirements and government rules/regulations.
• Ability to write clear reports and policies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze relevant government rules and keep management updated, ensure policies align with statutes.
• Optimize performance management process and track status of performance improvement plans.
• Lead HR projects and other HR tasks as needed.
• Prepare, update, track and maintain HR records, policy manuals, org charts.
• Partner with client group leadership to maximize employee performance.
• Evaluate training needs and provide a variety of training.
• Support recognition processes and events; work with Safety Committee on compliance.
