Job summary

Reliable Safety and Flow Corporation is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to support employee relations, investigations, and labor relations across an 800+ workforce in a manufacturing, unionized setting. You will partner with the HR Manager and work onsite at the Columbia, PA plant to ensure policy adherence and effective HR operations.

The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years in HR, strong investigations and labor relations experience, and a hands-on approach on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in manufacturing or unionized environments.
• Strong employee relations experience, including investigations and policy administration.
• Experience supporting labor relations activities within a unionized setting.
• Experience managing unemployment claims and disciplinary processes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the HR Manager to support employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Serve as a visible HR presence on the manufacturing floor, building relationships with employees, supervisors, and union representatives.
• Support labor relations activities, including contract interpretation, grievance administration, and ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
• Manage unemployment claims, documentation, responses, and hearings as needed.
• Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding company policies, procedures, and HR best practices.
• Conduct investigations related to employee complaints, workplace concerns, harassment, discrimination, and policy violations.
• Utilize HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends and improve engagement and organizational effectiveness.
• Assist with recruitment and staffing activities, particularly for hourly manufacturing positions.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
• Collaborate with HR team to support onboarding, benefits administration, employee communications, and other HR initiatives.
