Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5-7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Experience in employee relations, investigations, and policy administration.
• Experience with labor relations in a unionized manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Experience managing unemployment claims and disciplinary processes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the HR Manager to support employee relations matters, investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Serve as a visible HR presence on the manufacturing floor, building relationships with employees, supervisors, and union representatives.
• Support labor relations activities, including contract interpretation and grievance administration.
• Manage unemployment claims, documentation, responses, and hearings as needed.
• Provide guidance to managers and employees on policies and HR procedures.
• Conduct investigations related to complaints, harassment, discrimination, and policy violations.
• Utilize HR metrics to identify trends and improve engagement and effectiveness.
• Assist with recruitment for hourly manufacturing positions.
• Maintain compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Collaborate with HR team on onboarding, benefits, and communications.
