Job summary

The Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers seeks a Senior Human Resources Generalist to manage day-to-day HR operations for ~100 employees. Reporting to the COO, the role partners with external HR consultants to ensure compliant, efficient people processes across the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities include recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, leave and benefits administration, HRIS data management, and policy communication in a collaborative nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressively responsible HR experience.
• Experience supporting multiple aspects of the employee life cycle.
• Experience with HRIS reporting and data management.
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support recruitment activities including job postings and interviewing.
• Support onboarding and new-hire orientation and documentation.
• Assist with employee relations and performance documentation.
• Administer leave processes and benefits enrollment and changes.
• Monitor compliance training and legal requirements.
• Serve as HRIS super user and generate workforce reports.
• Lead process improvement projects within HR.
