Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to support HR operations, employee development, and compliance initiatives at our Indianapolis, IN location. The role oversees one direct report and partners with leaders and staff across the organization.

The position focuses on ensuring legal compliance, handling employee relations, onboarding, and training, while supporting recruiting, engagement, and retention efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field preferred.
• 4+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Experience in HR compliance, employee relations, and training/development.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Manage employee relations, performance management, investigations, and policy administration.
• Coordinate leave administration, workers’ compensation, and HR records management.
• Develop, facilitate, and track onboarding, training, and learning & development programs.
• Identify training needs and support leadership development initiatives.
• Assist with recruiting, employee engagement, and retention efforts.
• Supervise and mentor one HR team member.
