Job summary

Charter Communications is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to support leaders in a fast-paced environment. You will administer policies, ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws, and provide HR support across recruitment, retention, performance coaching, and leadership development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, related field or equivalent.
• 5+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
• Knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and procedures including wage and hour laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to managers and employees on human resources issues and employment law
• Develop programs and initiatives to meet your team's needs
• Coordinate solutions with senior HR teammates and implement plans to address long-term human resource needs and trends
• Perform advanced employee relations functions including counseling, dispute resolution, managing performance issues, reviewing termination requests and conducting exit interviews
• Conduct complex and sensitive employee investigations, manage workers compensation reporting and safety regulation processes
• Coordinate administration of leave of absence programs, transitional work and accommodations, conduct benefits open enrollment and employee and supervisor trainings
• Ensure timely and accurate HRIS and payroll entries, perform audit and compliance functions and maintain employee records
• Demonstrated project management skills, business acumen, and analytical skills
