This role is perfect for the individual who wants to help build curriculum, provide guidance, provide input on policy and processes and help drive Benesch's HR department with their future goals.
The Senior Human Resources Generalist is a key member of the Human Resources team, responsible for supporting a broad range of HR functions including employee relations, policy administration, compliance, compensation, and professional development. This role serves as a trusted advisor to both employees and management, supporting organizational goals and fostering a "First in Service" culture.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
The Senior Human Resources Generalist must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience. 7-10 years of well-rounded HR experience and HR certification (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) is preferred.
Essential skills include strong interpersonal and communication abilities, excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, integrity in handling sensitive information, and a solid understanding of employment laws. Experience with learning and development programming is highly preferred. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office is required. The role involves close collaboration with HR and cross-functional teams, up to 10–15% travel, and flexible hours as needed.
