The Senior HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting the HR department and ensuring the effective implementation of HR strategies and initiatives across the business. This position will be responsible for execution across various HR functions, including employee relations, leave administration, recruitment, safety, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have established experience in HR within a manufacturing environment a strong understanding of HR best practices, and a knack for finding solutions in various situations. Responsibilities:
- Serve as trusted resource for employees and managers for day-to-day questions related to payroll, benefits, policies, general information, and other areas.
- Act as Safety Administrator to ensure safe work practices and consistent program compliance. Lead and schedule monthly safety meetings and deliver periodic safety training for employees.
- Manage leave administration for employees including disability, FMLA, and ADA.
- Under guidance, complete effective and timely investigation of employee relations concerns. Complete offboarding activity including exit interviews and HRIS transactions.
- Support the recruitment process and activity as needed for roles at each level across the organization. Engage with management, internal stakeholders, and external partners as needed to ensure effective hiring processes.
- Participate in new hire setup and completion of new hire onboarding activity including pre-hire setup and orientation.
- Assist in administration of employee benefits programs and communication.
- Respond to requests related to unemployment, employment verification, survey data submissions, and workers compensation.
- Drive process improvements throughout the HR function by developing procedures, making recommendations, and implementing solutions as identified.
- Maintain the HRIS (Paycom) and ensure data integrity for all new hires and existing employees related to employee data, benefits, accruals, recruiting, performance management and position management.
- Serve as a positive and visible ambassador for the Enercon brand in daily interactions with candidates and employees.
- Maintain knowledge of labor law and regulations and ensure policies & procedures support compliance.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- At least three (3) years of progressive experience in an HR generalist or business partner role.
- Effective interpersonal skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate diplomacy, tact, and professionalism in all interactions with employees and management.
- Microsoft Office suite experience including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated experience and success with recruiting at various levels in the organization and working with an applicant tracking system (ATS).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to partner with stakeholders throughout the company to support delivery of business objectives through the effective management of human resources.
- Experience working with Paycom or another HRIS or ATS.
- Willingness to support HR initiatives in an expanding environment and be a partner in supporting the strategic direction of the company.
- HR certifications or additional training such as PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.
- Prior experience working in manufacturing or a related industry.
