As our Senior HR Generalist, you'll play a key role in shaping the employee experience and supporting organizational success. This hands‑on position serves as a trusted partner to leaders and employees, driving talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, payroll support, training, engagement, and internal communications. You'll help foster a positive workplace culture, develop HR initiatives that support business objectives, and provide guidance to the HR team while ensuring an exceptional employee experience.
Senior HR Generalist - Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily HR operations and provide guidance, coaching, and support to employees, supervisors, and HR team members.
- Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, performance concerns, and terminations while ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
- Lead benefits and wellness initiatives by administering benefit programs, coordinating annual open enrollment, educating employees on available resources, and driving participation in company wellness programs to support employee health and engagement.
- Oversee recruitment and onboarding efforts, partnering with leadership to attract, hire, and retain top talent.
- Support payroll administration, HRIS management, employee records, reporting, and data accuracy.
- Administer and support HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave administration, training, performance management, employee engagement, recognition, and talent development.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, EEO/AAP requirements, company policies, and training obligations.
- Assist with the development, maintenance, and communication of HR policies, procedures, handbook updates, and internal communications that support company culture and change management initiatives.
- Build relationships with community partners and participate in outreach activities to support recruiting and employer branding efforts.
- Stay current on HR trends, employment law updates, and best practices while maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of employee records.
- Participate in meetings, cross‑functional projects, and provide support across HR functions as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar HR certification preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading projects and driving HR initiatives from concept to completion.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment law, recruiting, payroll support, and HR best practices.
- Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Highly organized, self‑motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Proficient with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.

- Typical hours: 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
