We’re looking for a dynamic, people-focused HR Manager to lead every aspect of the employee experience — from onboarding to engagement, from payroll to performance, and everything in between.

This is a broad, hands-on position within a well-established manufacturing company serving the aviation and marine industries. You’ll wear many hats and play an essential role in supporting both people and operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple systems and priorities in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.

You’ll join a company known for its exceptional employee tenure, career growth opportunities, and close-knit culture — a place where people stay because they’re valued. This is a rare opportunity to build upon a strong HR foundation while continuing to elevate processes, strengthen compliance, and help shape a workplace where employees feel connected, supported, and proud of their work.

What You’ll Do

As HR Manager, you’ll take ownership of the “human element” across the business — blending day-to-day operations with long-term HR strategy.

  • Greet visitors, open the office, and handle daily administrative tasks such as checking mail and ordering office supplies
  • Manage and maintain multiple systems and portals (approximately 35 different logins)
  • Perform manual HR and payroll tasks, including:
  • Producing W-2s and handling tax filings manually
  • Updating employee information (e.g., address changes) across several systems (typically 5+)
Talent & Employee Lifecycle
  • Create, post, and manage job descriptions and applicant pipelines
  • Screen and assess candidates for skill and culture fit
  • Partner with outside recruiting organizations as needed
  • Lead new hire onboarding, terminations, and employment status changes
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation
Employee Relations & Engagement
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to management on employee relations and performance issues
  • Deliver clear, constructive feedback and manage disciplinary or corrective actions
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment through communication, recognition, and company events that promote engagement and retention
Payroll & Benefits Administration
  • Manage bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll, payroll taxes, and 401(k) contributions
  • Oversee annual W-2 preparation and filing
  • Administer benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, STD/LTD, and workers’ comp
  • Support employees in navigating healthcare and ancillary benefits
  • Review and reconcile monthly benefit invoices
Compliance & Policy Management
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable labor laws and employment regulations
  • Manage Affirmative Action and other reporting requirements
  • Administer disability, workers’ compensation, and unemployment claims
  • Develop, update, and communicate company policies and procedures
  • Plan and coordinate team-building and company-wide events
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to continuously improve HR processes and employee experience
  • Exceptional multi-tasking and system navigation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and process ownership
  • Ability to streamline manual workflows and improve system efficiency
  • Flexible, dependable, and proactive — someone who takes initiative and keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes
  • Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
What You Bring
  • Minimum 3 years of HR Generalist experience supporting a large team within a manufacturing or industrial environment, with broad HR responsibilities including:
  • Payroll and benefits administration
  • Full-cycle employment activities (hiring through offboarding)
  • Performance management
  • Disability and leave administration
  • Affirmative Action and compliance reporting
  • Policy development and event coordination that promotes retention
  • Solid understanding of HR operations and current employment laws
  • Excellent organization, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Experience with Infor ERP SyteLine a plus
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
  • Energetic, collaborative, and service-minded approach
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant HR generalist or management experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Why You’ll Love It Here
  • Work for a well-established, respected manufacturing company in the aviation and marine industry
  • Be part of a company known for exceptional employee tenure, strong leadership, and career growth opportunities
  • Enjoy a robust benefits package, including health coverage, retirement contributions, and a monthly stipend
  • Join a culture that values collaboration, dependability, and continuous improvement
Additional Requirements
  • U.S. citizenship or legal permanent resident status
  • Must be based in Dallas, TX and work onsite at the facility
