Job summary

Mohawk Industries, a Fortune 500 flooring leader, seeks a Sr. Director of Human Resources to drive HR strategy across five locations and ~1,000 employees. You will partner with senior leaders to shape workforce planning, culture, and organizational effectiveness, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities include strategic HR counsel, talent development, employee relations, and change management across multiple business units. Travel up to 10% expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 12+ years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 7+ years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic counsel to senior management on HR matters.
• Drive initiatives to foster a positive organizational culture aligned with the company's values.
• Lead organizational development efforts to enhance employee engagement, morale, and performance.
• Provide leadership in managing employee relations, ensuring fair and consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
• Provide leadership in managing complex employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Proactive in identifying and clearing roadblocks for the team.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including human resources partners, business leaders, and management teams.
• Work with managers to ensure effective goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms.
• Identify and address skill gaps through strategic training initiatives.
• Establish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
• Regularly interact with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning functional area.
• Perform other duties as needed.
