Job summary

Sysco Lincoln, Inc. seeks a senior HR leader to coach site leaders and associates on policy interpretation, dispute resolution, leaves of absence, harassment, and terminations.

You will interpret and apply HR programs to maintain a respectful, compliant workplace. You will lead EEO/affirmative action efforts, investigations, and reporting; coordinate staffing plans; guide recruiting with Sysco Business Services; and support Health, Safety and Environmental goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with major or emphasis in Human Resources, Business Administration or a closely related field.
• At least 7 years (10 preferred) of demonstrated HR leadership and management experience in distribution/manufacturing environments.
• Certifications such as HRCI PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred.
• Experience with employment law, EEO reporting and workforce planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching and guidance to site leaders and associates regarding employment issues.
• Facilitate the Sysco Speaks Associate Survey efforts.
• Analyze findings and review trends with senior management and recommend actions.
• Review, interpret, administer and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
• Develop and maintain the site’s Affir mative Action Program and EEOC reporting.
• Perform investigations and prepare written responses to EEOC claims and unemployment claims.
• Work with site leaders to create and maintain workforce staffing plans and coordinate recruiting with Sysco Business Services.
• Direct resources and activities to support a culture of prevention and accountability.
• Support Health, Safety and Environmental plans to meet operational goals.
