Job summary

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a strategic, people‑focused Human Resources Business Partner to join our dynamic team. Based at Fair Lakes, VA or Annapolis Junction, MD, you will collaborate with leaders and employees to deliver thoughtful HR solutions aligned to mission priorities.

You will advise a dedicated client organization, address talent acquisition, development, total rewards, mobility, employee relations, HR tech, intelligence and reporting, while improving long-term human capital

Qualifications

6+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s in a related field; 4+ years with a Master’s degree; or 10+ years with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience delivering human capital solutions to a dedicated client organization with working knowledge in talent acquisition, talent development, organizational development, total rewards, global mobility, business conduct/employee relations/labor law, HR tech, intelligence, and reporting.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with ability to engage and influence executive leadership teams, employees and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Align human capital strategies to match operational objectives and improve the workforce; provide expertise to support strategic goals and workforce planning.
Guide performance management processes, calibrate ratings, coach managers, and manage under-performance through development plans.
Consult with leaders to drive goal setting, management training, audit alignment, and productive feedback.
