Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner based in Bloomington, with a planned move to Edina. You will provide aligned groups with strategic partnership, coaching managers on engagement, performance, onboarding, and retention, and lead HR processes across regions.

You will investigate complex employee relations, develop training, and guide talent development while ensuring compliance and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field plus 8+ years of progressive HR generalist experience.
• SPHR and/or SHRM-SCP preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
• Solid knowledge of HR compliance requirements.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality HR partnership and coaching to management teams.
• Lead investigations and guidance on employee relations issues.
• Develop training and coaching for managers on performance and rewards.
• Oversee recruiting, onboarding, organizational structure and succession planning.
• Analyze HR metrics and report trends to senior management.
