Job summary

Sibanye-Stillwater is seeking a Human Resources Representative to support Montana Operations from Columbus, MT, with a strong emphasis on benefits administration and program design. The role requires leadership in health, life, disability, and retirement programs and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

The successful candidate will manage outsourced benefits services, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with Finance to assess cost impacts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and/or 3 years related experience managing benefits programs.
• Background of finding creative solutions to complex business needs through collaboration, program design and administration.
• Proven success at building strong, credible advisory relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Experience partnering with external partners and consultants to build strategies, methodologies, processes, tools, and communication.
• SHRM-SCP or HRCI certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Support the Montana Operations for the US Region with a strong emphasis in benefits management.
• Lead delivery of benefit programs for the US Region (health, life, disability, retirement) and manage communications to employees and families.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for plan design and filings.
• Oversee outsourced benefits administration and negotiate annual contracts and renewals.
• Collaborate with Finance to determine cost and enterprise impact of program changes and manage the annual benefits budget.
• Represent the organization to clients and external groups as needed.
• Assist with Montana Operations HR facets as needed.
