Job summary

City of Austin is seeking a Senior Human Resources Advisor to provide advanced HR support to management and employee groups. You will analyze, implement and oversee HR programs while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and policies.

This role requires strong communication, data analysis, and training delivery skills, with the ability to lead and train managers and staff across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 4 years HR experience.
• One additional year of experience may substitute for education.
• No licenses or certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with senior leaders on HR program analysis, implementation and administration.
• Advises management on HR-related decisions and policy interpretation.
• Develops reporting to support decision making and policy development.
• Monitors compliance with laws, policies, and program objectives.
