Job summary

Mitratech is seeking an experienced HR Advisor IV to provide senior-level HR guidance and compliance support to U.S. small and mid-sized businesses.

You will act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, regulatory matters, and workplace issues, while mentoring colleagues and contributing to HR resource development. This fully remote role requires extensive HR expertise, strong business acumen, and excellent communication skills to translate complex regulations into actionable recommendations

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive HR experience in varied environments (in-house HRBP, advisory, or related areas).
• Advanced knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR compliance (Wage/Hour, Leave, Hiring, Employee Relations, Terminations, discrimination).
• Active HRCI or SHRM certification required.
• Strong consultative, written and verbal communication skills; ability to simplify complex topics for clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR compliance and best-practice guidance to U.S. small and mid-sized businesses.
• Consult with clients via phone and written communication; address a broad range of HR questions.
• Research federal, state, and local employment regulations for accurate guidance.
• Deliver timely, professional recommendations to support client decisions.
• Manage client inquiries while meeting service level expectations.
