Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. seeks a senior High Power Microwave (HPM) engineer to support a critical Naval Sea Systems Command program. You will perform trade-off analyses, assess new HPM tech, and simulate designs for current and future shipboard systems.

You will primarily operate from the DC or Dahlgren, VA area, with a sign-on bonus upon hire and the opportunity to influence the fielding of advanced HPM solutions for US Navy platforms.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering, science, or technical discipline.
• 10 years designing high-powered pulsed microwave systems.
• 5 years testing and evaluating HPM sources.
• 5 years lab and field-testing with test design and data analysis.
• DoD Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior HPM support to a Naval Sea Systems Command program.
• Perform trade-off analysis, assess new technology, and simulate candidate designs.
• Infuse advanced technology into US Navy surface ships.
