The role requires TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain, onsite in Aberdeen, MD, and strong Linux/cluster administration skills with a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifikationen

• Requires 8+ years of professional experience and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; or 11+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Requires TS clearance; TS/SCI preferred.
• Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Linux+ or equivalents (RHCSA/RHCE/SUSE SCA).
• Location: must be near customer-required work location.
• Experience with Linux systems and cluster administration.

Aufgaben

• Monitors and maintains the health of HPC systems, including compute, network, and storage.
• Plans and performs monthly system patching and semiannual OS upgrades.
• Reviews, resolves, and responds to client support tickets.
• Mentors junior team members in issue and case management and skill development.
• Maintains on-call schedule for 24x7x2/4 coverage year-round.
