UT-Battelle's Oak Ridge facility is seeking a Senior Engineer to design and advance secure, high‑performing HPC storage and infrastructure for classified missions. You will lead architecture, implementation, and optimization across multiple environments, translating demanding requirements into reliable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• BS degree and 8+ years of systems engineering, HPC, or storage experience.
• 5+ years supporting Intelligence Community missions or similar environments.
• Ability to lead complex technical efforts and translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Eligibility for access to Sensitive or SCI information; TS clearance required.
• Experience with classified HPC storage architectures preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead architecture, design, and modernization of secure HPC storage systems.
• Translate mission requirements into scalable, high‑performing infrastructure.
• Develop prototypes and automation using Python, Bash, and config tools.
• Monitor performance, reliability, and data movement across HPC environments.
• Mentor staff and influence technical roadmaps for classified storage.
