Job summary

Nscale, the GPU cloud for AI, seeks a Network Engineer to design, deploy and operate fast Ethernet and InfiniBand networks across data centers and WANs. You will work with deployment teams to ensure BOM accuracy and reference architectures are implemented, while troubleshooting performance issues and automating hardware lifecycles.

The role requires deep experience in VLAN, LACP, MLAG, BGP/OSPF, EVPN, VXLAN and RDMA, plus Python or Bash scripting.

Qualifications

• Proven design, deployment and operation of high-speed Ethernet networks.
• Experience with InfiniBand networking including QoS and RDMA.
• Strong WAN knowledge: MPLS, BGP, IPSec, GRE, SD-WAN.
• Familiarity with HPC topologies: Fat Tree, Rail.
• Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting.
• Solid optics and hardware BOM insight.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and operate high-speed Ethernet networks.
• Design, deploy and operate InfiniBand networks; tune performance.
• Collaborate with deployment teams to validate BOMs.
• Contribute to DC layout and rack elevations per reference architectures.
• Troubleshoot Ethernet and InfiniBand performance issues.
• Automate deployment and operations for multiple vendors’ hardware.
• Design, implement and support WAN infrastructure.
