Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and support Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions within a high-performance computing Linux environment. You will work with Large Language Models, LLM orchestration frameworks, and knowledge retrieval systems, delivering containerized, scalable SI solutions in mission-critical settings.

The role requires a Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance (within 7 years) and a strong background in Python, Kubernetes,

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Linux environments with advanced CLI usage for development, troubleshooting, and admin tasks.
• Hands-on Python development with modern software engineering practices and frameworks.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and containerd for packaging and deployment.
• Designing, authoring, and deploying Helm charts to manage Kubernetes-based apps and services.
• Experience building, testing, deploying, and supporting containerized applications in production.
• Experience configuring Kubernetes resources (Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingresses, Operators).
• Working knowledge of Generative SI technologies, LLMs, RAG architectures, embeddings, and vector databases.
• Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Flux CD, GitLab Runners or similar tools.
• Observability with Prometheus and Grafana; strong telemetry and monitoring practices.
• Proficiency with Git workflows, code reviews, MR/PR processes, and collaborative development.
• Understanding of SDLC best practices, automated testing, security scanning, code quality analysis, and DevSecOps.

Responsibilities
