Transforming Age Associates is offering a Temporary Part Time position in Bellevue, WA, assisting residents in senior and family housing. The role, about 60 days at 24 hours per week, pays $22–$29 per hour DOE and focuses on outreach, education, resource navigation, and community connections to support residents aging in place.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, public health, or human services, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Approachable, friendly demeanor with sensitivity to diverse interpersonal styles.
• Direct experience serving low-income households, seniors, and/or adults with disabilities with information/referral services, preferably in housing.
• Experience navigating local/county/state systems (DSHS, Medicare/Medicaid, mental health) and community resources with positive outcomes.
• Proven service management experience including organizing, problem-solving, and advocacy.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Comfort working independently while part of a larger team.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Exceptional written, oral and presentation skills.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide outreach, education, connection, and navigation of resources for residents living independently in Senior or Family housing.
• Collaborate with residents, property managers, and community providers to support independent living.
• Develop and grow a network of contacts with service providers and agencies for resident referrals.
• Identify needs and educate residents on available services and assist in applying for resources.
• Work with housing managers to empower residents to age in place and remain independent.
• Utilize agency database for timely tracking of Resident Engagements (progress notes, care plans, referrals, follow-ups).
