Job summary

Transforming Age Associates is offering a Temporary Part Time position in Bellevue, WA, assisting residents in senior and family housing. The role, about 60 days at 24 hours per week, pays $22–$29 per hour DOE and focuses on outreach, education, resource navigation, and community connections to support residents aging in place.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, public health, or human services, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Approachable, friendly demeanor with sensitivity to diverse interpersonal styles.
• Direct experience serving low-income households, seniors, and/or adults with disabilities with information/referral services, preferably in housing.
• Experience navigating local/county/state systems (DSHS, Medicare/Medicaid, mental health) and community resources with positive outcomes.
• Proven service management experience including organizing, problem-solving, and advocacy.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Comfort working independently while part of a larger team.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Exceptional written, oral and presentation skills.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

We have a Temporary Part Time opportunity (for approximately 60 days (2 months), 24 hours per week). This role pays $22 to $29 per hour DOE and supports the Ashwood Court in Bellevue WA, and Woodlands in Forbes Lake, WA.

Our Resident Service Coordinators:

• Provide outreach, education, connection, and navigation of resources, and support community engagement for residents living independently in Senior or Family housing.
• Create collaborative relationships with residents, property managers, and community providers to support independent living.
• Develop and grow a network of contacts with service providers and agencies for resident referrals.
• Identify needs of and educate residents on available services, help them to navigate and assist in applying for resources.
• Work in conjunction with the housing manager(s) to empower residents to age in place and remain as independent and self-reliant as possible.
• Utilize agency database for timely tracking of Resident Engagements (i.e., progress notes, care plans, referrals made, follow-up dates).

What you need to succeed!
