Qualifications

• The City seeks a collaborative, strategic, and politically astute housing professional with experience administering affordable housing and community development programs.
• The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of California housing law, affordable housing finance, and state and federal programs, including CDBG, HOME, CalHome, PLHA, and related grant programs.
• They will be an effective communicator who builds productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Candidates will have five (5) years of experience in housing programs, community development, affordable housing finance, or a closely related field, including two (2) years of supervisory or management experience, and a bachelor's degree.
