Westhab in the Bronx, NY is seeking a Senior Housing Specialist to supervise Housing Specialists serving clients in our homeless family shelter, identifying permanent housing and aiding with placement and package submission.

Required are lease negotiation experience, knowledge of NYC housing laws, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to collaborate with Case Management; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Reports and data are routinely prepared for program oversight.

Qualifications

• Supervise Housing Specialists and provide training to staff.
• Experience negotiating lease agreements with landlords or management companies.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and helpful for client communication.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and train Housing Specialists.
• Review housing packages and case notes for proper documentation.
• Prepare regular housing reports for the Program Director.
