Job summary

Eastern University’s College of Education seeks an Associate Director of Housing Operations to oversee occupancy management, room assignments, and the maintenance of safe residential spaces on campus.

The role manages housing software (StarRez), coordinates with Plant Operations and external vendors, and leads the on-call emergency rotation, ensuring accurate data reporting and efficient billing with Financial Aid and the Bursar.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Higher Education, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in housing operations, assignments, or facilities management.

Responsibilities

• Direct occupancy management and room assignments; manage housing contracts and forecasting.
• Serve as primary liaison with Plant Operations; manage vendor relations with laundry, micro-fridge, and key control.
• Administer housing management software (StarRez); coordinate data reporting and billing with Financial Aid and the Bursar.
• Oversee summer housing logistics and collaborate with Conferences on summer operations.
