Job summary

The West Side Federation for Senior and Supportive Housing, Inc. is seeking a Food Services Manager to oversee daily operations in our 129th Street Adult Care Facility. You will ensure high-quality meals, exceptional service, and adherence to health regulations while coordinating staff and budgets.

Responsibilities include supervising kitchen staff and service personnel, managing orders and inventory, and maintaining safety and sanitation standards in a 35-hour in-house role five days a week.

Qualifications

• Experience with forecasting, inventory, and ordering from vendors.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Fluent English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the food service department.
• Supervise kitchen and service staff and coordinate food orders.
• Manage budgets and monitor food costs.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and sanitation standards.
• Maintain safety procedures and staff training records.
• Create staff schedules and approve time off in ADP.
