Job summary

The Fairfax Marriott is seeking an energetic, outgoing and experienced Sales Manager to drive hotel sales and revenue growth. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, a proven sales track record, and strong communication skills to meet client goals.

You will prospect across Social, Military, Educational, Religious, Fraternal, Association, and Government markets, conduct site inspections, present compelling proposals, and close accounts.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel sales experience is required.
• Marriott hotel systems experience is preferred.
• Proven track record of success in hotel sales.

Responsibilities

• Manage diverse market segments including Social, Military, Educational, Religious, Fraternal, Association, and Government.
• Conduct site inspections across the property to maximize revenue.
• Sell all facets of the hotel to existing and prospective clients, orally and in writing.
• Prepare persuasive sales presentations and entertain clients as appropriate.
• Close accounts and document all solicitation and closing details.
