Job summary

Stonebridge Companies in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Chief Engineer to lead the hotel maintenance operations and drive reliability across refrigeration, heating, plumbing, and energy systems. You will supervise the maintenance staff and contractors, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with other departments to uphold guest satisfaction and smooth hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance management.
• Knowledge of refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment and energy controls.
• Ability to supervise maintenance staff and contractors.
• Experience with budgeting, inventory management and purchasing.
• Strong problem-solving and safety/compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance operations and staff across all hotel systems.
• Oversee refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, and energy management.
• Manage contracted services to meet hotel standards and guest expectations.
• Hire, train, evaluate and schedule maintenance personnel.
• Ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to specifications.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Security on operations and safety.
• Assist with project planning and bid processes with architects/contractors.
• Manage maintenance contracts including landscaping and snow removal.
• Develop and maintain maintenance programs for rooms and public spaces.
• Handle inventory management, purchasing duties, and department budgeting.
• Maintain orderly workspaces and participate in GM meetings.
