Job summary

The Sundry by Hilton Hotel in Springdale, Arkansas seeks a skilled Chief Engineer to ensure the hotel and equipment run smoothly. You will lead a small facilities team while also rolling up your sleeves to fix issues on your own.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, planning preventive maintenance, coordinating with inspectors, and managing department expenditures within budget. A valid driver's license and 3 years of maintenance experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years in a maintenance role with troubleshooting of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lead and train facilities staff in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Self-directed and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical systems and equipment.
• Review maintenance issues and schedule work orders to optimize operations.
• Monitor and inspect assigned work to ensure quality and safety.
• Inspect property to identify current and potential maintenance needs.
• Plan and execute ongoing maintenance programs.
• Maintain hotel pool operations including chemical balance and filters.
• Prepare budget inputs and assist with capital budgeting.
• Coordinate bids from contractors and ensure work meets specs.
