Job summary

Waterford Hotel Group seeks an Assistant Chief Engineer for the DoubleTree by Hilton Little Rock to help lead the maintenance and engineering team. The role focuses on safe, efficient operation of building systems, preventative maintenance, and guest comfort.

You will supervise staff, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure compliance with OSHA and building codes while collaborating with hotel leadership on improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in a hotel engineering leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems.
• Experience leading a diverse engineering team and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily operations of the hotel's engineering systems.
• Lead, train, and develop the engineering team to ensure guest comfort and safety.
• Manage maintenance programs, vendor relations, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and capital improvement projects.
• Collaborate with hotel leadership on property improvements.
