Job summary

Highgate Hotels, LP in Fort Wayne is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead the Housekeeping Department with attentive, friendly, and efficient service, ensuring guests enjoy a clean, safe environment while controlling expenses.

You will motivate and coach staff, implement cleaning programs, manage equipment and supplies, conduct interviews, and coordinate with Engineering and other departments to uphold Highgate standards.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field; or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience; or a 2-year college degree and 2+ years of related experience.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Must be proficient with MS Word and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Motivate, coach, counsel and discipline all Housekeeping personnel according to Highgate Hotel SOP's.
• Establish and maintain a regularly scheduled cleaning program and detailed checklists for each position.
• Maintain and control all housekeeping equipment.
• Ensure guest privacy and security by following Highgate Hotel procedures.
