Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent acceptable; bachelor's degree preferred in hospitality management.
• Minimum five years of progressive housekeeping leadership experience in hotel, resort, or casino.
• Minimum three years of management experience overseeing housekeeping in a 250+ room property.
• 4 Diamond housekeeping experience is required.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and team development skills.
• Experience managing labor scheduling, budgets and productivity standards.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and cleaning chemicals/equipment.

Responsibilities

• Promotes superior guest service.
• Organizes and manages daily housekeeping operations for guest rooms, public areas, and heart of house.
• Performs daily inspections for cleanliness, appearance and organization.
• Leads departmental meetings and develops action plans for improvements.
• Manages hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation and counseling of staff.
• Prepares schedules and labor/productivity reports.
• Works with laundry operations, ensuring proper laundering and par levels.
• Ensures safe, hazard-free work environment and adherence to recycling procedures.
