Job summary

Dallas/Fort Worth Airport Marriott in Irving, TX is seeking a skilled hotel engineer to operate and maintain central HVAC and building systems. You will repair kitchen, laundry, refrigeration and boiler equipment, read blueprints, and ensure safety and reliability in a busy hospitality environment.

This full-time role requires hands-on technical training, state certifications if required, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Hotel engineering experience required, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and commercial kitchen systems.
• State certification or licensure where required.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Physical ability to lift 10–25 pounds; work in an office environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate central HVAC and mechanical systems following SOPs.
• Repair and maintain hotel equipment including kitchen, laundry, refrigeration, boilers, plumbing, electrical and gas systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic problems and repair quickly and cost-effectively.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on an ongoing basis.
