Job summary

Hotel Avail, A Tapestry Collection by Hilton Rogers is seeking a skilled Chief Engineer to lead the hotel's maintenance operations. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, guide a small facilities team, and roll up your sleeves to fix issues on your own when needed.

The ideal candidate has several years of experience in maintenance, a valid driver's license, and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a maintenance role or similar, with ability to troubleshoot multiple systems.
• Ability to lead a small facilities team and coordinate maintenance tasks.
• Comfort with gap-filling and hands-on problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical/mechanical systems and equipment.
• Reviewing maintenance problems and prioritizing work orders.
• Inspecting property and planning preventive maintenance programs.
• Coordinate with health, safety, and building inspectors to ensure compliance.
• Recruit, mentor, and support facilities staff.
