Job summary

Hotel Avail, A Tapestry Collection by Hilton Rogers is seeking a skilled Chief Engineer to lead a small facilities team while actively servicing equipment. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, plan maintenance, and coordinate with inspectors to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3 years in a maintenance role handling HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to mentor and supervise facilities staff.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing malfunctioning electrical/mechanical systems and equipment.
• Reviewing maintenance problems and scheduling prioritized work orders.
• Monitoring and inspecting ongoing work for quality.
• Inspecting property to identify current and future needs.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs on schedule.
• Coordinate with inspectors to ensure code compliance.
