Job summary

Hilton Brooklyn Downtown NYC seeks a Complex Chief Engineer to lead maintenance and engineering staff across hotel operations, ensuring building integrity, safety compliance, and sustainability alignment with HHM standards.

You will supervise associates, manage vendor contracts, oversee PM programs, and coordinate major maintenance projects while upholding guest satisfaction and service excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and/or trade school coursework in related field preferred.
• Previous engineer/maintenance experience in a hotel setting strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates to meet brand and hotel standards.
• Coordinate bids, quotes and contracts for 3rd party vendors.
• Manage in-house maintenance projects and preventative maintenance programs.
• Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.
• Maintain life safety systems and ensure 100% operational readiness.
