Homewood Suites by Hilton Midtown Manhattan in New York City is seeking a Hotel Engineer to maintain and repair hotel equipment across kitchens, laundry, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and guest areas. You’ll perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and lighting tasks, with a focus on minimizing downtime and ensuring guest comfort.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of trade training in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, or building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration equipment with minimal downtime.
• Install and replace light fixtures and bulbs.
• Conduct scheduled inspections and fix equipment malfunctions.
• Ensure safe storage and handling of chemicals and hazardous materials.
• Secure and monitor the building's security systems and access controls.
