FirstCall Mechanical is seeking an experienced Hot Side Technician to join a growing team in Chesapeake, VA. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, fryers, steamers, and kettles, with a strong focus on safety and code compliance.

The role requires EPA certification, 2+ years in HVAC and kitchen equipment, and a valid driver’s license. Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills are essential as you support rapid service delivery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a commercial HVAC setting.
• 2+ years on industrial/commercial kitchen equipment.
• Active EPA Certification.
• Valid Driver License with acceptable driving record.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial hot side kitchen equipment, including ovens, fryers, steamers, grills, warmers, kettles, and other cooking appliances.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Conduct safety inspections and verify compliance with manufacturer specifications and applicable codes.
