Job summary

FirstCall Mechanical is seeking an experienced Hot Side Technician to join its Chesapeake team. You will diagnose, troubleshoot and repair commercial hot side kitchen equipment, including ovens, fryers, steamers, grills, warmers and kettles, while performing preventive maintenance to keep devices running smoothly.

Ideal candidates hold an active EPA certification, have 2+ years in HVAC and kitchen equipment, and are flexible for on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a commercial HVAC setting.
• 2+ years of working on industrial/commercial kitchen equipment.
• Active EPA Certification.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial hot side kitchen equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, grills, warmers, kettles).
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Conduct safety inspections and verify compliance with manufacturer specs and codes.
