Job summary

Addison Group in Dallas, TX is seeking a Hosting Enterprise Architect to design, manage, and support enterprise server and infrastructure solutions that are secure, scalable, and highly available. You will define architectural standards across physical, virtual, and cloud environments and drive seamless integration of applications, servers, networks, and storage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
• 5 – 10 years of IT experience with focus on server engineering or infrastructure architecture
• Advanced knowledge of Windows, Linux, and AIX operating systems
• Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and enterprise storage technologies
• Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash)
• Strong written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical teams

Responsibilities

• Designs and maintains enterprise infrastructure architectures including virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware) and data center environments
• Leads performance analysis, capacity planning, and availability assessments for business continuity
• Maintains a portfolio roadmap aligned with clinical, operational, and IT objectives
• Implements infrastructure security best practices and ensures policy compliance
• Evaluates emerging technologies and contributes to long-term roadmaps
• Collaborates with network, storage, database, application, and business teams to deliver integrated solutions
• Develops and maintains architectural diagrams, system documentation, and standards
• Leads large-scale system design including disaster recovery, storage, and OS configurations
• Acts as a subject matter expert across multiple technical domains
