Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Cloud Enterprise Lead in Dallas, TX. The role focuses on designing, governing, and supporting enterprise cloud and hybrid infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available.

You’ll lead architectural standards across Azure, OCI, and on‑prem environments, coordinating with partners to ensure proper execution of designs. The senior technical leader will guide cloud initiatives, align strategy with IT leadership, and drive cost controls and operational models

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional IT experience with cloud or infrastructure architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure design and operations.
• Knowledge of OCI, including compute, networking, and storage.
• Strong understanding of hybrid connectivity and enterprise networking.
• Experience with Linux and Windows in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with virtualization (VMware) and cloud integration.
• Experience with automation and IaC tools (ARM/Bicep, Terraform, PowerShell, Bash).
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Designs enterprise cloud and hybrid architectures focused on Azure and OCI.
• Define cloud standards, reference designs, and guardrails for core services.
• Lead capacity planning, availability, and resiliency assessments.
• Develop a cloud portfolio roadmap aligned with IT objectives.
• Collaborate with security to implement cloud security and compliance.
• Monitor FinOps metrics and cost controls.
• Lead disaster recovery and cross-region architecture efforts.
• Provide technical leadership and communicate risks and tradeoffs.
