Job summary

Dallas County is seeking a Senior IT Solution Architect to design and implement scalable, secure IT solutions across applications and infrastructure. The role partners with engineering, development, and operations to align technology with business needs and IT standards.

You will drive cloud migration initiatives, enable DevOps pipelines, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies while mentoring junior engineers and guiding architectural decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in IT/CS or related field with 4+ years in IT solution architecture, integration, or enterprise app development.
• Certifications in cloud platforms or enterprise architecture are preferred.
• Experience designing scalable, secure IT architectures and integrating cloud/onsite systems.

Responsibilities

• Designs technical solutions aligned with business needs and IT best practices.
• Ensures high availability, performance, and scalability of designs.
• Provides hands-on technical leadership for solution implementation.
• Collaborates with IT teams to resolve architecture challenges and optimize data flows.
• Develops architectural blueprints and roadmaps; documents decisions and integration patterns.
