Job summary

Tao Group Hospitality is seeking a Lead Host in a fast-paced New York venue to lead the front desk, coordinate guest arrivals, and communicate seating preferences to the Maître D’. You will greet guests, manage reservations, and ensure smooth flow between the podium and dining room while upholding peak performance standards.

Ideal candidates have prior host or hospitality experience in high-volume settings, with the ability to work extended hours and maintain a polished, professional appearance

Qualifications

• Previous host experience preferred.
• Previous hospitality experience.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the host team to maintain service standards.
• Oversee podium operations and coordinate guest arrivals with the Maître D’ upstairs.
• Handle phone and reservation communications and coordinate between podium and dining room.
