Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton South Bend is seeking an accomplished Operations Manager to join our hotel’s senior leadership team. This role provides strategic and operational oversight of Front Office and Food & Beverage, including Starbucks and Banquets, with a focus on guest satisfaction, financial performance, and brand compliance.

Qualifications

• Progressive hotel leadership experience in a full-service upscale environment.
• Demonstrated leadership across Front Office, Food & Beverage, Banquets and related operations.
• Strong knowledge of Hilton brand standards and operating procedures.
• Experience overseeing restaurant, bar, coffee/retail or similar F&B outlets preferred.
• Strong financial acumen with labor, expenses, budgets, forecasts and revenue opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level oversight of Front Office, F&B, Banquets, and Starbucks.
• Lead and develop department managers, setting clear performance expectations.
• Champion Hilton brand standards and ensure high service quality and cleanliness.
• Drive guest satisfaction and implement service recovery strategies.
• Partner with General Manager on property-wide strategy and priorities.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, productivity, and labor management by demand.
• Monitor financial performance and opportunities for revenue growth.
• Lead banquet and event execution from planning to completion with Sales/Catering.
• Maintain strong controls across cash handling, inventory, and risk areas.
• Review performance metrics and drive improvements in service and profitability.
• Build a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
• Recruit, coach, and develop leaders; maintain visible leadership during peak periods.
