LCMC Health is seeking a Security Officer II to provide a visible security presence, screen entrants, monitor activity, and protect patients, visitors and staff across our campuses in Louisiana. This role emphasizes de-escalation, rapid response, and collaboration with local law enforcement.

You will conduct routine patrols, handle incidents, assist with transport, and participate in annual trainings. A high school diploma and firearm certification preferred; hospital experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; policy academy preferred.
• 1 year experience required; 3 years in a hospital setting preferred.
• Valid Louisiana Driver's license and Firearm certification preferred; BLS/CPI within orientation.

Responsabilités

• Provide visual security presence and screen entrants to the hospital.
• Respond to disturbances, deescalate situations and coordinate with police as needed.
• Operate screening equipment and access-control systems; patrol campus regularly.
• Assist staff/patients with security-related needs and transport where required.
