Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare Quality and/or Risk Management.
• Demonstrated primary responsibility for performance improvement activities.
• Experience with healthcare regulatory compliance and accreditation requirements.
• Experience managing or supporting risk management and patient safety activities.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Hospital or inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead hospital-wide quality management, performance improvement, patient safety, and risk management programs.
• Monitor compliance with federal, state, accreditation, corporate, and hospital standards.
• Coordinate surveys and maintain survey readiness.
• Identify noncompliance and lead remediation and corrective actions.
• Provide education on regulatory requirements, quality initiatives, and patient safety.
• Oversee incident reporting, investigations, and corrective action plans.
• Maintain hospital plans (Care/Scope, Leadership, Information Management, Utilization Review, Infection Control, Patient Safety).
• Use data systems to identify trends, generate reports, and develop improvement initiatives.
• Review and maintain hospital policies.
• Collaborate to address patient concerns, quality issues, and risks.
• Support leadership in building a culture of continuous improvement.
