Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Director of Quality & Risk Management to lead quality improvement, patient safety, regulatory readiness, and risk management at a specialized post-acute rehabilitation hospital. This leader will partner with executive leadership to ensure CMS and Joint Commission readiness and drive performance improvement.

• Oversee quality improvement, patient safety, regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, and risk management initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead all quality management, risk management, and performance improvement activities.
• Ensure compliance with CMS regulations, Joint Commission standards, and applicable healthcare regulations.
• Develop, monitor, and analyze quality indicators and patient safety metrics.
• Coordinate hospital-wide accreditation and regulatory survey readiness efforts.
• Investigate and manage risk-related events, incidents, and corrective action plans.
• Facilitate performance improvement committees and quality initiatives.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to identify opportunities for operational and clinical improvement.
• Develop policies, procedures, and programs supporting regulatory compliance.
• Monitor outcomes and implement evidence-based quality improvement strategies.
• Provide ongoing education and guidance regarding quality, patient safety, and risk management practices.
• Support leadership in achieving organizational quality and operational goals.
• Oversee departmental responsibilities and associated team members within the quality function.
