Job summary

UCI Health in California is seeking a Biller III to manage billing and collection of hospital charges from a variety of payers. The role uses our computerized billing system to post payments, reconcile accounts, and ensure timely cash collection across the revenue cycle.

You will work with payer partners, patients and internal teams, requiring strong math, data entry, and communication skills in English (bilingual abilities preferred).

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare revenue cycle and payer billing.
• Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD billing codes and authorization requirements.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication; strong math and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Bill and collect hospital charges from a variety of payers.
• Post payments and reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
• Review accounts within inventory and ensure timely collections.
